In a disturbing development overnight, I've discovered that the Apple store no longer accepts my OneSmart card as a payment method. This means I can no longer easily pay for my HBO Now subscription, and I won't be able to subscribe to Hulu via the AppStore when its current billing cycle finishes (As of last month, I can't provide my OneSmart card to Hulu directly to them anymore either).

And even worse, I had to create another US iTunes account to download a FREE app for some craft hardware I purchased for my wife. Due to my billing status change, iTunes won't allow me to download any apps. And this app is only available in the US store.

I know many here use iTunes gift cards as a workaround. What are the safest ways to obtain these? So many of the gift card sites online look pretty dodgy.

+1.  Have used them for about 2 years and always get the codes quickly (often withing minutes if your an existing customer).

Other option is to ask on here if anyone is off to the USA soon and ask then to pick some cards up.

I added more credit to my OneSmart card (it was under USD $9.99), after which iTunes allowed the card to be added. Crisis averted, I hope.

Ive used g2a before, figured with the number of big youtubers supported by it and lack of complaints it would be fine and it was.
