But as far as I know that hasn't started yet.

And the amounts don't add up. I thought the HD plus 2 streams was going to be $14 when GST added.

Did you have a USA account or NZ. I have USA account  1 screen so  I see nzd$8.69 + nzd$1.30tax total nzd$9.99. This appeared like this from 5/10 my last payment. I pay by cc 

 

GST started being collected from 1st October

$12.99 is the GST-exclusive price. It seems that the system isn't quite set up correctly, but it'll fix itself next month (I believe that Netflix begins charging GST on 1 November, not 1 October).

 

Interestingly, Netflix has not advised me that the price is changing. I was charged $12.99 on Wednesday but I believe that it'll go up to $14.99 next month.

So any ideas what that tax is? Since it seems to be coming off Netflixs bottom line.
