For some strange reason Hulu followed me on twitter which I thought was really random.

I had a look at their website and in the past it was quick to say not available in NZ, this time there was no such thing.

Tried to sign up and got as far as the Credit Card details...didn't like my card, guessing something to do with the zip number.

Anyone with a USA card and not using a VPN willing to give it a try? :)

US account, no VPN - did not stream, same old message about only being available in the US. At least now we can blame Trump.

I've used Hulu for a couple of years, but just cancelled (replaced with Amazon) it as I am fully sick and tired of them making it so hard for anyone outside of the USA.

Yes agree Amazon is much easier! I also would not live without Sling TV.

They have followed a few accounts I help with recently, it would appear they are following followers of verified accounts on mass (I would assume to try get people to follow back/boost their numbers)

Would be nice if they launched in NZ, but I would say it's a no for the foreseeable future ☹️

What does Sling have? Might check it out.

It has pretty much all US cable channels - I just get the basic package plus global news channels - around $29 US a month I think.

I barely have enoguh time to keep up with Netflix and Lightbox.  Tempted by Amazon prime for the Grand Tour, but that doesn't justify a subscription for me.

I have Lightbox but hardly ever use it.  The Amazon Prime sub has been well worth it for me even with having Netflix.

How does one get the Sling TV here in NZ or what options available?

Can you use a NZ credit card to pay or will it just only accept U.S credit cards?
