I'd have to agree with @tdgeek.

I was considering not responding, but luckily you have a long history with GZ with many posts. I'll respond even though some of your posts have headings as dodgy as this one. Here is my reasoning

  1. Searching on Google returns the top 10 results all pointing directly back to the site. Even your 1hr old question is amongst the Google results.
  2. According to scamvoid.com the site seems to be OK, but it was offline for the last quarter of 2016 as per the Alexa stats at the bottom of the page.
  3. All of their subject headings have that click-bait ring.
  4. I can't find a path to your linked article. Only your link seems to find that page. Nothing else on that site.
  5. "that one site" that is the cause of people cancelling their Netflix and signing up for free has a link that references geekzone.co.nz

Those are enough warning flags.

No, that site is not legit. Do not follow the link. Do not subscribe. Stay away.

Please keep this GZ community vibrant by contributing in a constructive & respectful manner.

Thanks Guys.

My wife had forwarded me the link and my quick search of Google drew the same responses.

Your feedback is appreciated,

I see our friends at the Herald have a "promoted stories" spam link to this Shrewd Living site. As long as it makes them some $$$, they don't give a poop what they link to.
