Has anybody signed up & got it working yet. I changed plans this afternoon and updated the Apple TV app and now I get an error saying I am using a proxy server and video won't play. I'm in big trouble if I have lost the service over all. I use Unblockus and I have tried DNS4ME, both without success. Help !!!!! lol.

TIA.

I get this as well (on GetFlix DNS unblocker). I have noticed it still works fine running Hulu on PC it is just the Apple TV app.

So, after working on it until nearly 1 am, I have found that it works fine on iPad & iPhone. It makes no difference having DNS settings in Router or device. I have tried 3 different DNS suppliers to no avail on ATV, but all 3 suppliers work fine on iPad & iPhone. Seems odd.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Yes, I did all that and using dns4me also. Normal HULU is still working on 2 other ATV's. It the HULU Live app on ATV4 that is broken. I chatted online with their tech support and they have a geo blocker in play for live app. Normal app still working on older ATV's.

Unless the on demand service is critical to you, why not investigate an IPTV service? So much easier and cheaper.

Thanks. 30 min Google reading and I can't see how it is easier and cheaper. HULU costs me less than $22 (inc DNS) a month & is very easy. It has all we watch. If I want sport, I was using a week Fan Pass. But that's a whole other issue. Lol.

I have to admit that I took a lot longer than 30 minutes to find the best solution for me, but Hulu and Fan Pass were quickly identified as a low return / higher cost option that would not suit our needs. Quality IPTV streaming direct to our TVs at 1080p or 720p minimum is our driver. And and for UKPounds 10 monthly, I am more than happy with the 400 channels or so that I get. Too many to watch in actual fact. I have to admit that on demand would be a bonus though, if only for the time shifting.

Yes, fully understand everybody has different needs. I'm after a simply plug, play & forget type solution. I have now started looking a HTPC stuff online to see if that will replace (easily) our TIVO when that becomes obsolete later this year.
