I keep getting this error "It looks like you are offline </br> Please check your internet connection and try again" (text for future searches)

Everything else like Netflix, 3Now,Youtube etc work perfectly fine. I did entertain the idea that it was my DNS redirect service but Ondemand works with no issues from my PC or phone.

I also tried reloading the App but that didn't make any difference either.

edit: please move this if I've posted in the wrong location :)

I get that from time to time on my Samsung smart tv from time to time. There's actually nothing wrong with my network/internet connection and other smart tv apps work. It's just TVNZ OD that does that.

To be fair, I haven't had that error in a while. Maybe you could contact TVNZ and let them know about the issue you're having?

We used to frequently get the same sort of thing with the Lightbox app on our Samsung a few months ago but haven’t had it recently.

The TVNZ app runs perfectly on both of my Samsung tablets, an SM-P900 (12 inch) model and a Tab S2 (10 inch) model.

I'm pretty sure the OP is referring to Samsung Smart TV.

Watching OnDemand just now on our two-year-old Samsung Smart TV and the programme wouldn’t restart after an ad break. Nothing I could do would get it to start again. Very frustrating when you’re in the middle of watching something
