Been happening in the last couple of weeks, been trying to use the YouTube app on iPad but has been really slow to play if at all! But the ads play fine (funny that). Yes have deleted and reinstalled with no effect. Suggestions?

No problem with mine. It wasn't all that long ago though when there wasn't even an official youtube app for the ipad. Have you tried any of the alternative youtube apps, eg non google youtube players?

Try rebooting your wifi router and sitting next to it. : ).

no problems on my ipad. did you do a hard reset? restart the modem?

Yes, YouTube is performing clunky. But it is a good few years old now. iPad 4th Gen.

Absolutely no problems with ours. If YouTube wasn’t working I am sure my kids would be screaming blue murder! Suggest you should look at your wifi connection.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

My youtube sometimes loads very fast, sometimes it doesn't load, or 'buffers', etc.

It happens on any platform.

So it's either the youtube itself, my ISP, peak period (but sometimes it happens at midnight on Sunday ie monday morning - is that peak?), the other day nothing worked so i restarted the Modem.
