Hi,anybody else having audio quality problems with StuffPix? We have new PC with good sound card, new video card ,well a better quality one,a fibre speed of 104 MbPs,sound going to my big Pioneer amp via optical  cable, video from pc to tv via HDMI cable, and when I stream Lightbox or any thing else sound is very good, but StuffPix comes out centre speaker only.Ive told StuffPix and they said they transmit in stereo and keep giving me free movies. The only time I can duplicate the problem is by hiring another movie and playing it.Ruins good movies,eg The Foreigner, very good, and Thor, ragnarock,  Any ideas? pl

The reason they keep saying its stereo.. is its all it supports it seems

Higher standards are also supported. Stuff Pix will soon release added support for 5.1 surround sound audio systems.

Mis-read.

If you don't want to try other bits, you may be stuck if you have AFD (auto format decode) or bitstream overriding PCM or a preset multichannel when the source is not

Found similar with windows 10 and AC3 passthrough, the amp had to be put onto one of the preset soundmodes like neo6 or MovieSurround or it thought it was mono/stereo and not upmixed to prologic.
