We have a Samsung 7500series and a Samsung 6400series tv setup in 2 different rooms, however the 6400series tv is showing a wider range of Netflix programmes....why? They don't show the same things is what I mean.

How are the TV's connected to the internet?

Do they have the same network settings, especially DNS settings?

If one of the TV's is connecting through a DNS service (DNS4Me), then it's possible that they'll have a different catalogue i.e. US or UK.

No, both tv's are set up identically.

What some of the differences that you have noticed with the catalogue? Are you referring to the TV Shows and Movies that display on the dashboard or are you not able to find particular content when searching for it? If you have profiles setup, depending on previous viewing, the Shows/Movies on the dashboard appear differently.

Also if you login to Netflix webpage, go into Account > Recent Device Steaming Activity, what counties are listed there?

Different versions of the Netflix app perhaps.

Is it the same user profile on both TVs?

Yes different version, same user profile. The older tv might not have current updates?

That's your difference. App developers love to change the layout. It gives the false impression that a lot of work has gone into the update. You will still have the same access to the same range of programmes, it's just that more will be obviously available than the other. Screen size also has a lot to do with it.

We have exactly the same situation and this is the reason.
