Just finished that Cowboys 2017 season doco, eeeek not pretty.

49rs fan, not expecting too much, teams that you never heard of in the 80s and 90s now reign supreme.

I considered an NFL pass but skipped as, being a seahawks fan, the games are mostly on when I am at work on a monday. NFL.com's recap clips, even minutes after an event, and in-game play tracking is the best of any sport out there.

Duke usually carries 3 games per week.  I dont think TVNZ will have axed its NFL coverage.

i dont mind if its delayed, as long as its full game coverage.

Was great to watch the Cowboys. Damn they would have been good last year had they had a true Starter H=Quarter Back, no disrespect but the guy got the job out of them failing to draft one. Anyway was good to watch the inside of " America's team".

How can ya be a Sea Hawks fan unless you in your 20s? hehe

Its like when Liverpool or Auckland were unbeatable until the sports went full time pro. Then everyone suddenly was a Man Utd fan, as for Rugby, I dont think there is a major consensus but prior to sper rugby Auckland didnt lose for 5 YEARS IN A ROW, not one game. Not the teams are not Auckland Blues, there is nothing Auckland about professional rugby, the Crusaders dont represent Canterbury or Highlanders Otago, they are simply a franchise where players from out of province are bought to play for them

One thing about NRL and NFL is its matured a lot more in pro aspect and teams do almost feel like they represent the city they playing for.

In addition to Duke, there are usually a few free games on Twitter etc... I saw that Facebook had an exclusive stream of an MLB game this year, so they may do something with the NFL too.

I’m a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and will be getting NFL Gamepass again. I feel it’s the best option to watch all the Bucs’ games and I like the extra content like NFL Network and the other shows.

Gamepass is a bit pricey but since I only watch NFL and MLB it’s fine. I don’t have Sky.

Yeah I dont have sky either.

I use to only watch NFL, MLB and the NRL. Gave up on union once it when pro, something died. Doesnt have the hype of those 3 other sports. Id like to see Aus/NZ one day get to the point of putting up an NFL team. A ways off but its gaining speed in Aus.

Baseball is huge in Aus, but Gridiron is getting up there. http://gridironaustralia.org.au/

So yeah maybe gamepass is for me.

Is there nothing i can access with my DNS to watch replays etc?

spoken like a true forty whiners fan :)

The first NFL game I ever went to was vikings vs seahawks at the old kingdome. I went in as a neutral but reading the match day programme I learned that the hawks first NFL game was the same year I was born and decided to root for them instead. Was a great experience and they won the game. As with all sports teams, once a fan...I'm in for life no matter what. Took a long time to see the bowl victory but we got there in the end.

watching a game with the boy

Another Hawks fan!  I had an NFL Pass last season, but the experience was extremely sub-par - Apple TV broadcasting didn't work until well into the end of the season.  I complained and it was pretty much a case of "read the terms and conditions".  I've since disabled the automatic buy of the pass this year - I'm still undecided on what I'm going to do this season.

During playoffs, the simple solution is to take every monday in January off.  Done!

given you want NRL, NFL and likely cricket for free, just pay for sky. its all in one place on one service and will be cheaper than individual ones combined.

all of those sports sell their broadcasting rights so any free access will either be illegal or limited in what you get.

Current deal on sky sport is less than $55 per month (The SKY Starter package costs $24.91 per month and SKY Sport is $29.90 per month.)

You forgot to add the world's greatest sports tournament - FIFA 18, just around the corner.

Maybe I am wrong but how can you take Australia serious for NFL team when they call it gridiron?

Sky would not give me the games I am interested in, so that's why I have NFL Gamepass and MLB.tv. Those two plus Netflix, TVNZ app, Three app and YouTube have all I need.

I appreciate that for "general sports fans" Sky is a good deal, just not for me.
