I'm bit of a top gear fan, and I'm rewatching some of the episodes on Netflix, however the catalogue only goes back to season 18. I see that Neon has the latest season, but I can't find any (legal) service that has season 17 and older. Are these episodes even online? If so where?

Actually I'm wrong, jut the iPlayer IOS app has a really bad search system.  The BBC does have it when looking though their site.......ahh but trying S01E07 says it's not available.

Season 17 is the first one on Netflix, so one more year than you mentioned may be available via that route...

The Amazon Prime Video option is only for the new series, not the BBC ones.

If all else fails, I remember seeing the old seasons as DVD box sets on Amazon.com.
