Has anyone managed to get the Android app to work. I am using a Galaxy tab S2 and have no trouble streaming Netflix but

I am not having any success with Stuff Pix.

Holy crap 1.5/5 with more than 50 reviews. I'd say it's not worth a try.

Very true. I wonder if anyone has managed to cast by other means.? I am not too well up on casting but I have no trouble with Netflix.

It looks like this stuffpix is a dead loss.

That is interesting, looks like I am not missing much. Did you cast it to your TV?

It can be done then. I don't seem to be able to cast using Chromecast but have no trouble with Netflix. The Android app doesn't seem to like me.

Not on Android (using iOS) but my experience of the service is : Wow how could something be so poorly implemented!?

The process of actually renting something can't be done via the app

No AppleTV support so have to use Airplay. I tried a HD one and airplaying that killed the iPad totally; as in had to reboot it to get wifi connectivity back. Never had that happen before :O

Submitted a ticket to them - which disappeared into the ether somewhere. After a few days (rentals only last for 48hrs so the rental was lost by then) asked for a followup. Nothing. After a few more days, asked via Facebook. Nothing. After a few more days posted a (not so) glowing review on Facebook. Response received shortly thereafter. :| No one could find the ticket in question. So they asked for me to submit it again. Which got a response after a few days and then nothing since.

I certainly wouldn't pay money for a rental, and it is barely worth the struggle to use free coupons.

TLDR - sidestep the offering where possible :P

I have read other similar comments. It appears to be a dead loss and I have decided to give them a miss until things improve.

I find the way Stuff advertising their services as essentially illegal, immoral and disgusting. Result was that giving StuffPix a wide berth was a no brainer. Glad to see I've been validated in this.
