Makes sense. Probably not a cost saver benefit, but all in one place certainly is.
So this is what Singtel and Netflix have had in Singapore since 2016?
And Comcast and Netflix have offered in the US since 2016? And renewed/upgraded earlier this year.
Research has shown over and over again that Netflix and Paytv are complementary products and Netflix (through its Open Connect partnerships) is increasingly bundled with paytv. Customer convenience of having it all together in one place is the key advantage. Shock horror it becomes just another "channel" to add to your paytv package.
It also allows Netflix to keep growing its subscriber base and reduce churn.

Brunzy: Our son has Comcast Xfinity and pretty sure Netflix is bundled with it\
And I think that Sky UK is the last provider to join with Netflix in the UK. Virgin partnered with Netflix a while ago.
As one often has to remind Sky UK and Sky NZ are in no way related other than in name. I'd be more curious if Foxtel made the same announcement - or Optus given the Singtel/Netflix relationship.
