Does anyone else use Fanpass on ATV 4/4K? Would you mind tearing it telling me if your is working. I’ve just returned home and the Fanpass app just will not load. It times out and tells me an internet connection is required, however the internet is fine and all other streaming apps on the device work fine. I tried their chat but they were useless, just wanted me to turn everything off and on again (which I’d already done). Their last response before closing the chat session was to use AirPlay. The app doesn’t support AirPlay so that shows there knowledge.

I’ve logged a ticket on their support email and waiting for a response.

My ATV4 is working - I have noticed an issue with the loading screen, which is normally fixed by pressing menu, then going back into fanpass (The Fanpass logo would display, with a whirly gig spinning ... for longer than I was prepared to wait).

ATV4 4K Is working AOK for fanpass (I didn't have to do any tricks to make the home page come up.)

Note that I don't have an active package currently.

Thanks

I’ve always had that whirligig thingy on mine. I would hit select on my Harmony remote and it would go straight in. But now the whirligig doesn’t even come. Just a static Fanpass logo before timing out saying internet connection required.

You don't have a VPN service running, do you?  (As long as the rest of the apple tv is working AOK, that would be my next check).  Can you check fanpass working on your PC? (Tablet/ other device)?

Legend!

No VPN but I was trialling a DNS service before I went away for the holidays that has since expired. DNS now set back to automatic and all working again.

Thank you.

Glad you fixed it, I was going to suggest a DNS issue as that's happened to me before with Fanpass.
