Does anyone else have a subscription to this?   i have had for a few years.

Looks like they have changed the app devs for this so recently required updating / replacing ... not a huge fan of the new mobile app , maybe i just need to get used to it.

The android Tv version of it i can't find on the google store,  nore is it avail on the PlayStation store ... which is weird considering you can download the mobile app still, and it still supports chromecast ...

Anyways, for those wondering, you can get the PS4 app , by creating a UK PlayStation account on yr ps4, logging in and yes its on those regions digital store.  And it works regardless of which PS account you are logged in on yr ps4 thereafter ... works pretty well.

I had a subscription last year - I’ve been really unhappy with them since they changed technology partners (things not working properly).

The new app (appletv4) looks and works really well ... however ...

I got an email last last month that I would be “upgraded” at no extra cost to the pro subscription if I stayed on the auto renew option. (Unhappy about that, because I was already on the pro subscription)

Apparently they’ve released pricing to Europe now, but still no sign of what the pricing will be in this part of the world. (If I leave auto renew on, in theory it’ll be A$274 for another Pro sub.)

However, given last years pain, and this years total lack of pricing information - I’m really concerned that the system isn’t going to work properly again. It’s just too much money for the chance that things won’t work.

I pretty sure we are such a small market, they just don’t care.

yeh i found the support is pretty terrible .. 2 years back the mobile app was giving me all kinds of issues in regard to saying i wasn't allowed access to live games, just randomly ..and the response to my emails was terrible , pretty much along the lines of "have you tried restarting your phone? "  did not look into it beyond that at all..

Anyways, good point re the subscription charges .. i better check my  auto renew status, i will be signing up again, just curious to see what the charge is ..  the good o'l days a few years back when they gave the service away free to us here in NZ

It was okay a few years ago, but then in the last 2 years the EU, US and 'International' offerings have been seperate but named the same products.

Seems like this year they are consolidating it all which is great. There was/is an LG app but I haven't checked to see if it works with the new offering.

I'll probably buy an Apple TV since they offer a higher bitrate on that for some reason.

Pricing is out now - USD 199 or €175.

See sky sport has announced an improvement to their fanpass offers, so it’s going to be a tough call on which way I’m going to go this year.
