Serious question, are the Warriors going to be competitive this year. I dont mean finalists, I mean competitive, as in the top half of the teams at minimum

I will leave long answer for Warriors thread, but Im actually surprised by the difference in intensity and desire vs last year so early on. Deserved to win the 2 point loss vs a much stronger Storm side last week, Warriors essentially playing their reserve grade team, was impressive.

Tomorrows game, free on Nrl.com. vs wests will be more of an insight to the teams capability.

Yes I think from the limited insiders knowledge I have and what Im seeing in their weekly videos on training etc, I do believe definitely expecting top 8, would not be surprised to see top 4.

If they could buy Brandon Smith from the Storm, he would make a HUGE difference to the team. I think given hes been stuck behind Cam Smith for ages and hes a proud Maori man, I think we would have a chance with the right money, Id pay him overs, hes a future top 3 hooker in the making.
