Hiya

Thought I'd have a go at setting my Synology DS1815+ up to record online TV and found this TVMosaic available.

Installed it manually and I can get it to the stage of pulling in the channels, but no program info.

I used this from the kodi thread... http://apsattv.com/kiwitv2.m3u

Maybe that's the issue, but this is all firsts for me, so hopefully someone has successfully done it and can give me some pointers...

TIA

Bruce aka fritzman.

Im not familiar with that software, but you should need to add matt huismans epg to it somewhere

as the raw m3u file doesnt contain any epg data

I'm using this guide source on my TVMosaic running on my Asustor NAS

https://github.com/NZXMLTV/xmltv

You just add it as an XMLTV EPG source.

Once you've done that you should see the channels listed in the Channel mapping tab under the EPG Sources with XMLTV selected.

Then map them to your tuned channels as needed.

If using my m3u you will need matt's epg which is compatible with the main channels

OK... there are two places that require input, and I have put the same link (http://apsattv.com/kiwitv2.m3u) into both... I'm guessing you'll be on the money there.

I wonder where I will find that?  Would it have to be specific to this link?  (http://apsattv.com/kiwitv2.m3u)

Are you using an actual tuner with an aerial or satellite dish on the roof or just wanting to stream IPTV?

Edit: Doh! My bad just saw what forum you posted in! :) Never mind carry on. I can't help with that as I'm using a network-attached satellite tuner.

Should as above one for the .m3u channel playlist Then a second to provide a XML EPG.

please note my m3u list has far more channels than the EPG covers. So don't expect an EPG entry on all of them.
