Hi All,

Sorry if not the right forum to post. I've been enjoying IPTV for while but as my 2015 LG TV gets older, it's not handling new apps or coverage etc.

They admin told me to buy a fire stick. Have looked for information around the basic version as that is all they sell in NZ.

Will I be able to get my IPTV on this stick? Thinking of buying one today.

Cheers

What IPTV service are you using? Freeview with Kodi? Or something different?

Something different out in the UK...

They said get a fire stick but they're asleep at the moment and was going to ask whether it would work on basic as I was going to buy something before COB today

It usually works on IPTV apps in LGTV like Smart STB or Smarters IPTV but it's buffering bad and I have UFB so I think it's the TV

Try it out on a PC client and see if you still get buffering.

If this is a dodgy IPTV service streaming UK channels then there is no guarantee of reliability.

If your existing TV can work with Netflix or TVNZ without buffering then it is probably down to the IPTV provider.

old LGs have issues with some streams. Remember when spark sport had to dumb it down to low FPS because of them and a few other devices?
