I got a free subscription to ATV+ with my new iPhone. Just wondered if there is any way to install on an Android tv device (Mi Box)? I've seen some workarounds online (i.e casting a Firefox browser with ATV), but it sounds like they don't work. We don't have a smart TV, or AirPlay-enabled TV, so that's out. Nor do we plan to get a Roku of Fire device. Hmmm, s**t out of luck?

Looks like it's coming soon to the new Android TV based Chromecast, so there should be an APK available then, and then officially to other Android TV devices "in the future".

 

Currently, the only Android TV device it runs on is Sony TVs, but they bundled Apple's DRM in a software update, so the Sony APK doesn't work on other devices.
