I have ESPN+ and had previously streamed Super Rugby through that via Apple TV.  However, it looks like they don't have Super Rugby Aotearoa 2021.  What are the other options for it?

As far as I can see, Sky Sports Now is $40 per month and Stan is $20 AUD per month (incl. basic TV package).  RugbyPass have it, but it looks like that is browser only, not App.

Any other options I'm missing?

Rugby Pass is now owned by Sky and are no longer showing the NZ Super Rugby, instead they link you through to Sky Sport Now

RugbyPass still show SR Aotearoa in other countries, which can be accessed.  However, as I say, it seems to be browser only, not app (which I assume means Apple TV).

If it's on Sky Sport, or Sky Sport now, then there is an apple tv app for Sky Sport now.  Sky Go (Sky and Sky Sport) can be played on Apple TV via airplay.

Yep, but they're $40 per month.  I was getting it on ESPN+, which is $5 USD per month, so was hoping for a similar cheap option.

Rugbypass supports chrome-casting. I have chrome cast from the android app to my Sony TV for the last few seasons.

Rugbypass has now split their subscriptions. One subscription gets you access to the Super Rugby Aotearoa competition, The other gets you access to every thing else.

Of course you need to be in a supported country.

Because of this split I cancelled my Rugbypass subscription for this year and gave Sky Sport Now a go on a one week ticket. I have to say compared to Rugbypass, Sky Sport Nows' rugby broadcast quality sucked.

Thinking I'll go back to Rugbypass and just subscribe to the Super rugby Aotearoa competition.

EDIT: Reading the FAQs for Super Rugby Aotearoa, Chromecast is not available yet.

Yep and it's not available through their app yet either - which is how I used to use RugbyPass.

I'm using Stan on Nvidia Shield Android TV.

App is crap, if Kayo app is 8/10, Stan is 5/10 due to slowness. Ended up watching Stan through the Kodi app for the Hurricanes game the other day.

I believe up to four people can watch at once through the Stan plan I am on. $29 per month gets UHD (if available), Sport addon, and 4 screens at once.

I was gutted Kayo doesn't have NZ Super Rugby anymore as I really like their app.

It looks like I can screen mirror from my iPhone to my Apple TV and could watch SR Aotearoa in a browser on that.  I'm not sure that would result in the best resolution on the TV though.  Might need to bit the bullet and do Sky Sports Now.

Kayo was amazing super slick app, was it hard to sign up to Stan?

I’m watching the rugby (well attempting to, but kids dominate the telly) via the Stan app on my Mi Box. Since Stan has movies too, we dumped Neon. I prefer Neon’s movie selection.

I do miss Kayo, it is still the best. May end up signing up to both (or ESPN+) so the kids can watch the football too.

I signed up to ESPN+ expecting to see the rugby but alas it wasn’t there.

I've gone for SSN and watched the rugby fine last night (except my beloved Chiefies lost).  Have kept ESPN+ for the cricket, which I'd forgotten wasn't on SSN any more.  Maybe if ESPN+ gets the rugby back again or RugbyPass put SR Aotearoa on their iOS App, I'll ditch SSN again.

Piece of cake, just set up an account and provided my NZ debit card details. Plus the usual magic to make the service available in NZ.

So Stan has SR Aotearoa.  Is it NZ commentators?  Do they have an iOS/Apple TV app?
