I am watching Netflix via my smart TV (DishTV)

Normally, i can just set it, & watch many episodes all night - without any problems.

However tonight (20 May 2022) I notice I'm being bumped back to normal TV every hour or so. even halfway through a show.

has anyone experienced this?

Shouldn't be - the display has no 'black' or gap in the show.

You watch a Netflix show & then suddenly it switches to live TV with no/minimal interruption, except change in whats being displayed.

I'll monitor it over the next few days & see if I notice anything.

A friend of mine had an odd problem with a dishtv STB. I forget what the symptom was. Anyway...

The issue was caused by a combination of power cord and multiplug issues. It did not have any effect on the tv or home theatre using the same problem multibox.
