My so really wants to watch the weird AL Yankovich movie, but it's only on the roku channel.

Can I get this in NZ? Seems a bit unclear if the roku channel works here or not.
I don't have a roku stick/player and don't really want one.
My smart TV does not have roku app.

Do I need to buy the roku thingy?

I think the Roku channel is not available here but you can get it with a VPN on a pc or laptop. Go to therokuchannel.roku.com and play the trailer. You can stream it on 4 November. Create an account to get a reminder. I don't have an account so am not sure how it works but I think this should do it.
