Looks like the cricket World Cup is on Prime Video. From what I can see though have to watch live, unless they make it available after game. It has available with Prime Video and tick next to it, so looks like no extra cost.

Search cricket on it and select World Cup.

Looks like first one is 6th July 7.15am NZST.

I can’t see resolution or sound details about it though.

Im not sure what you are looking at but there is NO cricket world cup starting anytime soon. You may be getting mixxed up with the fact that amazon Prime has the rights for AUSTRALIA.

However there is MCL American Cricket league cricket coming up from the U.S, in this instance yes the NZ rights are held by Amazon Prime. Sky had it last season I think but its not attractive content due to timezones.

Prime has been in and out of various sports for a while. They have done the Autumn (October/November) rugby in the Uk for a few years. They have given it up from this year.

They've also done some NFL.

They were also here in late 2022 doing the NZ v India Cricket series in a separate broadcast truck to Spark Sport.

Prime produced coverage in English and in Hindi from the venue for the India based audience and also their studios in Mumbai produced a further 6 language feeds.

If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.

Yes it is the American games. After typing cricket though if press go on cricket by itself the games do not show up. Need to select the World Cup one then the games show. It is a bit strange how search works here.

edit: Games do show with cricket search but have to scroll past lot of other results to get there.

I watched some of the cricket. It is an HD picture, and looks like 2 channel sound.

There are adverts which are advertising shows on Prime. They last up to 15 seconds each.

One TV I could pause and rewind the other TV said pause etc not supported on this device. If have an older TV can only watch live. Haven’t tested on older TV for replay.

Saturdays game is still there for replay. Not sure how long they’ll keep it available though.
