ToPGuNZ:
I just tried to get the pass and after a few goes, a few errors and a few refresh pages it worked and it loaded fine on Google Pay. Might get to see my parents soon which will be nice.
Yes it will. The sad look on my parents faces when we finish a zoom call is soul destroying.
Delete cookies?! Are you insane?!
To many requests everytime I try (I was able to log in earlier this morning, but I must have been too early as I wasn't able to get a certificate)
Haven't been able to login - unsurprisingly getting the "server too busy" message. But if the expiry is 6 months from the date of issue rather than date of 2nd vaccine I suppose it makes sense to hold off until closer to the time you need to actually use it so will probably just do that.

Assume it will simply be a matter or re-generating a new QR code is the pass approaches expiry.
Other than the server being overloaded, I don't think there is a good reason to hold off. Doing it soon gives the opportunity to have time to solve any issues (like my wife where the pass is in the wrong name, despite her correct name being in MOH systems elsewhere).
No issues here. Pre-registered on the site. Took a couple of refreshes before I could log on. A couple of mouse clicks and 5 min later had the passport.
Yes I could have waited, but human nature says nah....
Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
Got the international Certificate too.
Contains medical details like number of doses, vaccine manufacturer etc. (Unlike the domestic pass which doesn't distinguish between vaccinated and exempt).
Not sure what to use to test that QR code.
Note: "This certificate is only valid when presented alongside a photo ID"
I was able to generate the pass easy enough but whatever I do it won't load into Google Pay (Nokia / Android 10). I've never used Google Pay and even had to install the app but every time I follow the link from the MOH email I just get a "Your COVID card can only be added to Android phones using Google Pay". I click on the Open in Google Play button under this message which just kicks me to a Google Pay support page which doesn't help.
Anyone any idea what I'm doing wrong? Do I have to have a credit/debit card preloaded? NFC enabled?

https://github.com/nz-covid-pass/ has a list of open source tools you can use to verify it.

Try using chrome, or go into the 3 dot menu and "open in app"
Loaded it into ‘Stocard’ app as well.

Vaccine Pass can only be generated for person who has had two jabs...
The little things make the biggest difference.

Oh I told a fib before.
The first time I requested the pass I got this...
As my vaccinations did fall within the criteria, I hit SUBMIT again, and then it was successful.
I'm getting the same... tried 10 times. I'll try again later

@Groucho: This is the same problem I had; posted a few pages back how I got around it: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=161&topicid=290002&page_no=8#2814296

I think the system is down as I'm getting the same.

Got it, thanks! I was tapping link from Gmail app which was loading in Firefox (default browser). Couldn't copy the URL to paste into Chrome due to some weird security feature of the Gmail app so logged into Gmail in Chrome and was smooth from there.
