Oblivian: Guess most people that have given up on it (not adding manual entries still) and uninstalled won't notice
But update out to help fix BT notifications by looks.
I do like the new stats that show on the Dashboard focussing on BT. The daily totals show the value of people uploading their BT tracing codes (if test positive) as well as the number of contacts who are notified as a result of BT tracing. Based on what I've seen it tends to roughly average one case goes on to notify three people which is awesome given the minimal active use the app is getting now. Hopefully it discourages people who want to uninstall the app.
Well I sent my Bluetooth alerts off this morning after testing positive and completing the required paperwork
The dashboard stats aren't looking as good as a few days after they abolished the requirement for QRs.
Even the notifications are down. 1.8M users isn't much of a dent.
I have still been scanning QR codes where available and where not (now most places), entering details manually.
According to the Dashboard, scans are now down to ~4600/day and manual entries, ~3200/day !! That's for the whole country (vs ~1.8m Bluetooth users active/day).
Now wondering whether contact tracers (if any still working) are going to be remotely interested in the QR code scans. That is despite a Dashboard still saying that it is "useful to fill out past days in your diary, including days you stayed home".

Anyone know it I would even be asked for the QR code data if I did test positive?
Or if asked, or supplied anyway, whether the data would even be looked at?
Still have Bluetooth active.
If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.
