It's almost like it's been 10 days incubation period after some large gatherings or something..
mattwnz: 183000 new cases in the US yesterday. Guessing new cases will be at quarter of a million a day within the next week or so.
Also see that TVNZ had a new epidemiologist on the news who was very critical of the NZ governments tardiness of not having mandatory mask use and compulsory scanning for contact tracing.
That's there job, would mandatory masks on public transport and scanning have stopped the church outbreak.
Common sense is not as common as you think.
Batman: Sorry to spoil your morning but according to the news a team with half the players recently recovered from covid has defeated the all blacks who I don't recall had anyone infected with covid! Nearly spilt my tea...

TV3 this morning mentioned Elon Musk testing both positive and negative for covid
TV3 should have mentioned that this information came from Musk's hallucinogenic Twitter feed, and that as Musk cares more about profits than worker safety, he's got a clear agenda.
Beware all billionaires when science upsets them.

TV3 this morning mentioned Elon Musk testing both positive and negative for covid. I’ve heard of this also happening in Europe and it's certainly concerning when it can mean the difference between locking down or not and the effect on people’s lives, I remember speaking with the head of a hospital department in SE Europe on my last trip away, pre covid, and was told that if you went to five different labs you would likely get five different results and the need for double testing and considering relevant factors and symptoms alongside any test for a serious disease. It’s not an exact science and there is the opportunity that here in NZ where we have very few cases these could be triple checked by different testing methods each time.

He's got COVID,
if its near the initial onset, false negatives are not unexpected from a Rapid test...
Its just like the "weak positive" from the Auckland cluster that was reported on Saturday. On Sunday after another test ( once the virus had replicated a few trillion times, it came back a "proper" positive...
Maybe he could hit up his mate in the Whitehouse for some of his "Superman juice" or was it just a bottle of Janola....

Batman: Boris Johnson in isolation
But he's already had a pretty good dose of covid. Surely he should be immune?

OP either failed to read the BBC article, or failed to post an important part of the story. You could consider it "clickbait".
In a statement, a No 10 spokesman said: "The prime minister has today been notified by NHS Test and Trace that he is required to self-isolate as a contact of someone who has tested positive for Covid-19."

Yes, he probably is
But as PM Its about sending a message that those who come into close contact with cases should isolate until they are confirmed to be unsymptomatic...
