S**t happens - everything went well except for the fact that the overdoses could have vaccinated 32 more people.

kingdragonfly: I expect the false theory that 5G causes COVID to come into this story at some point

Insider: Nashville bombing suspect told ex-girlfriend he had cancer and gave possessions away in weeks leading up to suicide, reports say as authorities investigate 5G-paranoia motive

...On Sunday, the FBI said Warner was responsible for blowing up an RV in downtown Nashville on Friday. Warner died, and three others were injured. At least 41 buildings, many of them historical, were damaged by the blast...

I named my phone "5g COVID-19 Test signal" many months ago. I leave my Bluetooth on all the time and occasionally enable a hot spot. So, it is this name that shows up on people's phones if they do a search when I'm around. Hopefully, no one is that batsh*t crazy to take it too seriously in NZ.

WHO says this

"The agency also said there's no evidence vaccinated people cannot still spread the virus - which means, in the future, even people with the vaccine could be forced to quarantine for weeks after travelling."

Thats potentially quite grim. Does this mean after vaccination, that you can still catch it, you will be protected, but possibly you can still spread it?

I know when I hear "overdose" I think a pathologic level of drug toxicity: death or at least seizures.

It sounds like the only adverse reactions was flu-like symptoms, which could have happened with the correct dosage.

Wasteful but no serious consequences.

I guess "overdose" is a splashier headline.

i wouldn't listen to WHO one liners.

let's see what happens when we know more when people have had their second dose of vaccine, the lawmakers will then be able to make their decision

In the meantime, vaccine distribution in the USA is imploding thanks to the Trump masterclass in leadership incompetence. No wonder all his business ventures go bankrupt. No wonder he can't win re-election. He adds a whole new dimension to the definition of uselessness.

The CDC recommendation for priority was people older than 75, health workers and first responders. Florida's governor turned this upside down (gotta protect your vote) and opened up for anyone older than 65 while removing health workers and first responders.

Yes, this is the same state where nothing worked before and the woman who ran a public website with covid-19 stats had her house raided by police and computer equipment seized.

I don't think the USA will have an effective response and process until the adults takeover in a few weeks.

Unfortunately, this makes it a lot harder for the rest of the world.

On another note, received a box shipped from Texas on Christmas eve. Seeing the postmark was ten days before, I just put the box in its own "quarantine" in the laundry and opened it yesterday.

In our context, an overdose is "more than normal". If you define any overdose as "more than enough" aka a lethal one, you are right for sure.

(Seems to be an translation inconsistency - maybe. If you are Covid-19 positive, it isn't a positive thing at all. And vice versa :-)

The discussion about whether vaccinated people should be freely unleashed on the rest of humanity has flared up everywhere. Here a draft law is already being worked on that prohibits the preferential treatment of vaccinated people and continues to be obliged to comply with the corona measures for vaccinated people. This is how the real solidarity or egoism in society will ultimately show itself.

It's a bit early to be discussing preferential treatment, until all segments have had a chance to get vaccinated

However when that day comes, schools should be allowed to prefer vaccinated children and staff.

Those parents that are obstinately defiant of authority must choose between vaccination, or isolating their kids at home. Any staff that don't want to get vaccinated can also teach only from home.

Lols.
Only play with your own balls.
Don't play with other people's balls.
Watch out for helicopters... they may be dropping other people's balls...

This debate will start exactly at day one of vaccination (if it hasn't started before). I'll not comment anything in NZ ('cause there is plenty of it around me where I live and that's difficult enough ;-)
