Hi folks. Surgery went well. I am just back in my room after recovering from anesthetics and everything else.

Good news. The liquid was not spinal fluid but the result of an infection. Drained, cleaned, checked spinal cord which seems to be intact. Because of this it looks like I need only 48 hours lying flat or sideways, instead of the previous five to six days as before. Loaded on antibiotics now.
