Geektastic: I spent a couple of hours outside on the mower in the sunshine, which was a pleasant change.

If you get really bored, you could ride that thing to Auckland and mow my laws too ? Oh wait.. Damnit.

polished both our cars, detailed the interior, filled gas tank to the top so the gas lasts longer, put on some additional psi to stop square spotting the tires, used ctek battery tender to top up and maintain 12v battery.

Not for the kids. If you have kids, make sure you lock the door, unless you want a very awkward conversation.

From the Temple of Tantric Art, free webinars 😜

From Stuff
Ardern encouraged everyone who had been contributing to local teddy bear hunts to change their theme by drawing an easter egg on the window.

"Create your own Easter hunt for the children in your neighbourhood."

On Monday night, she posted a template Easter egg on her Instagram for children to colour in and decorate.

In a "message for the kids of New Zealand", she encouraged children to take part in the newly-Christened Big New Zealand Easter Egg Hunt by designing or colouring in an egg and putting in the window.

I've been spending time talking to my cat. He's always in isolation as I don't let him outside.

Two weeks of lockdown: talking to the cat.

Four weeks of lockdown; getting answers from the cat.

I'm not crazy, thank you very much. The cat doesn't talk back to me. We communicate by telepathy.

You joke, but I supported the "Free Willy–Keiko Foundation" with the late, great Mark Berman.

We built a multi-million dollar facility to rehabilitate the orca "Keiko", the actual "Free Willy" held in Mexico.

Anyhow, the strange thing is we'd get a constant stream of letters, and alternative newsletters, of people who were in telepathic communications with Keiko. They'd apparently have long conversations with her. So much so you'd have to wonder when Keiko had enough time, to talk to so many people.

It would have been funny, except some material was very dark. We received a handful of death threats against Keiko also, for reasons unknown.

A "telepath" managed to get on top of the facility, and threw her diamond jewelry into the tank, again for reasons unknown.

We had to hire a lot of security, and have two guards posted 24x7 on top of the tank, with more inside the facility.

Just like the Star Trek movie, we had to sneak Keiko out, for her trip to the ocean.

Humanity ... what can you say.

I'm not a professional artist. Far from it. I've never taken any art classes either. I have played around with various 3D software, but never tried creating a 3D model. I've spent around 100 hours so far. I'm enjoying it.

As mentioned, I'm using open-source no-cost 3D modeler, called Blender, to create this. It can also be used to create object for 3D printer.

Well, done! I've had a couple of goes at learning Blender, and just couldn't get far enough up the learning curve to persist. So, I may be wrong, but I don't see Blender as a CAD package. I've always thought it was best for organic models (people, animals, etc). I've done most of my 3D modeling using OnShape.com.

It'd probably be a lot easier on OnShape.com, but I have plenty of time, and don't want to spend any money.

I don't have experience with CAD systems, but the Blender interface seems quirky. I watched many hours of Youtube videos before I even attempted to use Blender.
