kingdragonfly: It'd probably be a lot easier on OnShape.com, but I have plenty of time, and don't want to spend any money.)

Onshape.com is free, if you make your models public.

kingdragonfly: I'm not a professional artist. Far from it. I've never taken any art classes either. I have played around with various 3D software, but never tried creating a 3D model. I've spent around 100 hours so far. I'm enjoying it.

As mentioned, I'm using open-source no-cost 3D modeler, called Blender, to create this. It can also be used to create object for 3D printer.

Well, done! I've had a couple of goes at learning Blender, and just couldn't get far enough up the learning curve to persist. So, I may be wrong, but I don't see Blender as a CAD package. I've always thought it was best for organic models (people, animals, etc). I've done most of my 3D modeling using OnShape.com.

Try sweethome 3d very easy to use.

I have decided to undertake a Level 5 TEFL course with two specialisations, Online Teaching and Business English.

It'll be 300 hours of work (at least) but it will be something I can do from home, it will allow me to travel virtually by engaging with students from all over the world and if the world ever returns to normal, it is something in the bank I can use to fund longer term travel if need be.

My inbound tourism-dependent business will at the very least be hibernating for 12-18 months so I will have some spare time to study, so may as well make use of it.

Probably won't surprise anyone to hear that I plan on focusing on teaching adults or older children!

After building and improving catios for other people's cats, I've finally started building one for my own cat on Tuesday. I'll put up a photo in the DIY projects thread when it's complete.

I saw you more as a teacher of pre-schoolers. I'm sure you'd enjoy all the raw emotions and bodily fluids...

Perhaps the sort from those countries where discipline in children is seen as a positive!

I've watched a few youtube vids from Cracking the Cryptic and have learnt some new Sudoku solving techniques.

I'm now confident to tackle pretty much any hard sudoku although the odd NY times one still takes me a couple of goes from time to time.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
