If the son is not even vaccinated, there's no reason to get the pass so why take the spot from someone trying to login for valid reasons?
Also currently only people older than 16 can register - this will change later this month.

Sorry I thought this was for one's online health record, I take it its not my health record it's just vaccination record.
Now need to figure out how to my myself an online health record....
Myhealth is the online acct the Covid Passport is tied to - as such is currently about the only thing it's focus is on or availably to it. Test results, and status.
There is little else there at present without going through the in-person verification. And even then not sure there is anything of use. The passport site, hands off to a myhealth acct. aka https://identity.health.nz/
The Ministry of Health aims to enhance its communications about COVID 19 with health Consumers by making test results and vaccination statuses available on the internet. To implement these digital services, and enable direct engagement with Consumers, it will be necessary to accurately identify Consumers. Only the right person should be able to access and manage information about themselves. To enable these services, the digital identity tool My Health account is being developed.
I generated my QR code and it sent a pdf to an email address, i can see the email on my iPhone. Does anyone know how to add this into my iPhone somehow so its easy to find later? Ive heard people say add it to a wallet or files, but don't really see how to do this.
Sorry, not great on technology. All help appreciated.

Make sure you "load images" on the email, then push the "add to apple wallet" button thats just under the words
"You can also add your pass to your apple wallet, (for IOS) ......
You can also click on the attachment and save it to "files" or just open the pdf zoom in on the QR code and take a screenshot of it
iPhone users - is there a way to add the 'card'/pass to the homescreen? My friend doesn't use Apple pay, so can't use the double 'side key' feature to open the wallet from the lock screen.

I don't use Apple Pay either nor had ever opened Wallet. I added to My Vaccine pass to Wallet, moved Wallet to the first screen and left it at that. For me Wallet will only be used for this app
The contact tracing QR code as printed out for business doorways long ago seemed ridiculously large, but now the My Vaccine Pass wallet printout or Apple Wallet rendering both seem somewhat too small to be quickly read by smartphones.
The camera on my 13 mini can only just decode the printed QR (using the web-based decoder) after some faffing around with distance.
My 2D Zebra scanner can read somewhat easier but not instantly both the printed and slightly-smaller Apple Wallet version off the phone.

I need to get this set up for my wife. What "wallet" are Android users using if they aren't using Google Pay?
Sony Xperia XA2 running Sailfish OS. https://sailfishos.org The true independent open source mobile OS

Edit: I forgot that @Technofreak was special and using a non-supported OS and expecting everything to work. My above comment saying Google Pay on Android is the only option, if you don't have Google Pay then the only option is to have the PDF saved in email and open it every time and zoom whenever you need to present it.

Google Pay is the only option on Android. It’s just a quick setup but you don’t need to add credit cards or anything. Just go into Google Pay and accept the T&Cs
@Technofreak, is your wife running non-Google Android like yourself? Her device won't have an option then.

Sorry, that's a dick head comment that is totally uncalled for. Pull your head in. Nowhere have I said I expect everything to work.
I was asking about an Android phone.
Yes I do use a different OS. That OS has it's own wallet that works just fine thank you.
