How else do you deal with people who are away from home?

no idea but you either have a lockdown or you dont. So everybody who is visiting Auckland is allowed for the next 2 days to travel all around NZ getting home.

Yes. If there's no viable alternative then that's the way it goes.

what is the point of having a lockdown if people can travel around the country during it.

I'm sitting in a motel in the middle off of nowhere with a flight home on the Friday. I have a to figure out if I'm sitting tight or getting my flight moved and getting to the nearest airport

PM took many big digs at NSW for not locking down earlier. Fair call.

He probably is not in a live group yet. Who knows?

You have a lockdown, but account for the things that need to be considered in order for it to be realistic. In my partner's situation, she's not a patient at the hospital, has been going to cafes for all her meals etc. I'm not sure how making her stay in a hospital room she was a visitor in is going to help anybody.

as i said

using logic and common sense

if you are homeless, you should be able to go home

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Yes I agree.. hence my initial advice to my partner (which I realise now that I didn't mention). I just wanted to know if there was anything "official" to say whether she was breaking any rules or not.

If I was in your situation I'd be heading straight home on the first available flight. You can always go back next week if things are clear.

1pm tomorrow will include info on mandating something. She finished that sentence by heavily implying there will be mandated things (obviously masks) so that would appear to be more than what has been the case in the past. Im picking mandating masks when away from home. She encouraged us to wear a mask if we leave home multiple times, I feel that's being mandated

Hmmm

No specific mention of whether you can leave home to get vaxxed - and I'm booked for Thursday.

Vaccination is paused for 48 hours so you have to rebook now.

Thanks. I just rebooked - kind of relieved that plenty of slots are available next week.
