Sup:

Dr Bryan Betty of the Royal NZ college of medical practitioners describes our number of antivaxx Gps as small "Less than thirty".

I am stunned we are talking more than a half dozen here.

We only know about a small handful, one in CH CH two in Whangarei, one in Murupara and one on Waiheke Island.

Approaching thirty equates to a massive platform for vaccine misinformation. This is on the head of the medical council, it is time for them to stop being an old boys network, a protectorate, to doing their jobs as a monitoring and disciplinary body.

The Nursing Council of New Zealand would have you hauled before the council before you can say pro choice.

Here is another example:

www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/126719115/doctor-who-ran-mask-campaign-quits-after-refusing-mandated-vaccine

There potentially could be a few who are anti-vaxx, don't let their stance impact their professional work. Obviously they would have needed to move online when the mandate kicked in.

I dunno if the husband of the Chch medical couple is practicing medicine locally, someone will know. All I know is they have been Christian missionary's and from the wife's admission their antivaxxing stance is because it is against their faith.

Seems consistent with their former nationality and what we see especially in the Southern US.

it's not a faith, they are not believing in something good.

it's a cult. they are believing in something bad.

They run it together. Both faces all over the marketing.

But they've taken it offline.

@sup No it's always been significantly more than half a dozen as this article from last July shows

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/125605155/the-doctors-trying-to-hijack-new-zealands-covid19-vaccination-rollout

"32 doctors, 100 nurses and 187 allied health professionals who have signed an open letter casting doubt on the Covid-19 vaccine, published on the NZDSOS website in late April."

Dumbass, Would have been smarter to do it over a week, I wonder what his charge rate was. Last time I checked that market people were charging $500 to take a Shot using a Name NHI DOB.

Due to the job mandates / vaccine pass. Some anti vaxers just kepted quiet and got a family/friend to take the jab for them. It is just the loudmouths wannabe martys, the loud anti mandate look at me crowd that make the news. The quiet ones with good opsec are just getting away with it.

But at the end of the day, covid will still find them out and those who end up in hospital will be found out then.

"we have no evidence as to what side effects somebody would have with this amount of vaccine."

So during Vaccine reasearch they Did not check to see would happen if someone took a mega dose of the vaccine?

According to this article about doctor giving undiluted doses to 2 elderly patients in Australia, appears there was some trials done with higher doses

Ethics. Then law suit. Well that is the way proper trials are meant to pass ethics committee protocols.

They injected mice with mega doses, the mice lived.

Makes sense about the upper doses being higher than the final treatment course. All drug trials are meant to find the therapeutic sweet spot with the lowest dose possible. Makes economic sense also....but primarily limits side effects.

Someone that rang me to discuss doing this, getting jabbed for someone else. Their motivation, was that they worked in an extremely high risk area, and they wanted to have a third shot sooner than the full six month wait time (Month four, where Antibodies are begining to wane).

Therefore they asked me about presenting to a vaccine center as someone else (An antivaxxer friend) to get the shot.

They decided not to try it, convincing them was not hard, that plan had lots of very bad holes in it, including affecting their work mandate, whereby two months later they would need to show proof of a vaccine under their name, which would mean getting a fourth shot.

There are always people trying to rort the system.

The same people will cry foul if they suffer a vaccine injury, they wil not disclose it was their fault. And their antivaxx proxys will claim they were jabbed and still got the virus.

You have to be a pretty cold person to take up another human beings offer to be the human lab rat for you, and to pay them money for it.

We are dealing with Narcicism by clinical definition, entitled, lack of empathy, lack of conscience, maniipulative, lying, anti authority, self centered ego centric, glib, shallow emotional depth...on it goes.

I hope 2D has south Auckland-SH1 5G coverage by the 15th, otherwise its going to be really hard for 2 Degrees customers to leave Auckland...JohnR's black helicopter will be on them in no time otherwise.

Might be a good marketing opportunity for Spark or Vodafone.

Our current settings are the right settings as far as not needing to show I.D. to get vaccinated.

We will see these pockets of people cheating, however the greater goal, to remove reasons for hesitancy far outweighs these human clown stories.

We cannot afford to have the mentally ill, the homeless, staying away from vaccine centers because they have no proof of I.D.

The same is true for over stayers, for people who are wanted by authorities, and so forth.

They are a much much larger group than the handful of rorters.

The thing I find frustrating about the antivaxxers, is that they provide reasons for Govts to employ draconian measures, they force Govts to draft authoritarian laws.

They are literally driving Govts to create the dystopian reality that they fear. And they are dragging us all into it with them.

At the risk of going all keyboard Warrior here...but where are the other voices...where is our voice in this? where are we? what are we ignoring here? what is the ultimate cost for our silence?

Sorry I went off on the heaped tablespoon black Coffee fueled rant there.

But if people want to keep attacking their Govts ability to protect society, then they are pushing us closer to the idea of tech being used to track individuals through implants (MIT's spiky patch, quantum dots etc).

Anywho....we took the right approach, no I.D.  let the masses have free and easy access....and let Covid find the five percent.

Auckland and Canterbury are 97% with one dose, so I'll stump up that anti vaxxers are probably around 2%, the rest aren't hesitant, just slack.

Do they deserve a voice from the other 98%? I'm not so sure. At least the risk of the 2% affecting the 98% is highly mitigated just by the math.
