alasta: I have found that the general public had given up on social distancing a few weeks ago anyway, so I'm not sure that much will change.

Exactly. I'm giving it two weeks after queen's birthday before resuming normal activities.

It seems BAU to me, I keep distance where I can, but when some dick stands right behind me I resist making a scene. Glass half full, it's 99.9% not anywhere, but Im not oblivious to the potential risk. Its a long tail. Likely empty but no Govt Guarantee

All through out people haven't been keeping distance so no difference to be personally, people in NZ like to walk on top of each other in my experience, there's no concept of personal space here.

If you think that don't visit Asian countries!

When you can.

In 2030.

Yep when I read that I was thinking of the Korean subway. Makes a moshpit looks like social distancing.

Everything has dissolved back to what it was and any gains on humanity being united have ended; people once again don't care about social boundaries, drivers are all [deleted] and it has made me long for Level 4 lockdown again

I must admit I have some fantastic memories for level  3 & 4 going eskating with my sons on roads normally packed with people as our "exercise".

Glorious warm days at the beginning of Autumn, no pollution, no cars, no noise, no people.

Went for a walk/talk (team video meeting) this morning and the noise was horrendous!!

Just got back from town. Traffic seems worse than it was pre-lockdown. Never seen so many cars choking the roads.

You have a greater chance of being killed in a car crash today than catching Covid. I have only noticed one weirdo this week, a lady who stopped behind me on the footpath when I knelt down to tie my laces. She wouldn't walk around me, so I took as long as possible, doing the other shoe for good measure.

I guess you have also disregarded the PM's request to be kind. Where is the joy in making other people uncomfortable? That woman may or may not be a 'weirdo', whatever that is, but why go out of your way to torment her?
