It has been a busy morning. Very good news and bad news. Test results for Covid-19 are negative so that is awesome. However I had a video consult with my specialist this morning and it would seem the symptom's I have are consistent with Pericarditis.

Congrats on testing negative. I had to look up the other thing but it sounds like the lesser of the two in most cases. Not great news, of course, but hopefully less awful than Covid in your situation. At least now you know what you have to deal with. Good luck with it all.

I don't know what that is, but it's obviously not good.

How are you coping with the news? You OK?

Pericarditis is inflammation of the Pericardium which is the sack the heart sits in. It explains the chest pain, fever, cough and general aches, pains and fatigue. I can see why my GP thought Covid though. Now that I know what the situation is I can deal with it and as usual fight it.

Regards your Vaccine booster you will ace it. Use mindfulness techniques and if you need medication take it no need to suffer.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Good on the one hand, not good on the other. I had pericarditis a few years ago - thought I was having a heart attack at the time. Took quite some weeks to come right for me. Hope it's quicker for you.

freitasm: Bookmyvaccine.nz now accepts bookings for three months since second jab.

I've brought mine forward from next week to tomorrow.

I must have been too early as I checked around 7pm if I could bring mine forward from the 14th.

Just checked again, I could bring it forward to the third, but last time I had 'flu like symptoms' approx 20 hours after getting the 2nd jab which kept me down for a few days and I don't want that over my long weekend. No appointments left on the 8th/9th and the 10th is a Friday again.

So I'll just wait for the 14th.

@freitasm So I have three primary doses under the belt does that make me 5G+ or 5G++ or 6G? When I get the booster in March I am going be able to tune into an alternate Universe or be killed by incoming cutlery attack

I believe it will also increase your magnetism. We look forward to any photographic proof of such instances.

I'm currently experiencing the joys of the tracing system. I got a text on Sunday night saying to expect a call from the tracing unit. Ya!!! I was identified as a close contact at a Gym 11 days before hand.

The Gym currently doesn't show up as a location of interest but then maybe that's due to being too long ago or maybe because they got door records.

Anyway so I asked how long I needed to quarantine for and was told 10 days after the contact. *crickets* After raising this was told I needed a negative test too. I got that sorted on Monday morning and now we wait.....

I've since received 4 txts on Monday and 3 txts so far today saying today is my last day in quarantine but to wait for a call. The calls basically go this is your last day are you ready to be released? Oh no test results talk to you later.

No symptoms so I'm either negative or asymptomatic. Hopefully I hear something soon.

I ended up with KN95s again. They are certified and my pharmacy owner said the importer did a lot of research to make sure they met the chinese regulations, they are certified for what its worth.

They have high pressure for a number of wears which is the main difference Ive read between n95 and kn95, n95s are easy to breath through immediately where the KN95s have a pressure build up, but it does begin to wane after a while wearing them. I plan to rotate them. But we just do not mingle enough to be concerned. My main concern and why I wanted an n95 which Ive had before, was for when I have to spend over nighters for further procedures in hospital.

Ive had my 3rd shot, But I am commorbid, well not heart type issues, more I am currently over weight and have a bung thyroid and am getting over surgery for C. Not sure how commorbid that makes me but I hope the masks do the job. I will keep and eye out for a few n95s just in case.

I have a UV sterilisation box (originally meant for cellphones)

Would this be good for sterilising KN95 masks after use (bit light pegging the masks out in sunlight for a few hours I imagine.
