that will keep you occupied for a while, im currently about 170h deep and into the 2nd to last DLC. im trying to 100% everything though. main story will take you about 70h.

If you can get them Jigsaw puzzles are great especially those hard wasgij ones. We have quite a few of them.

My wife bought a couple of good jigsaw puzzles yesterday. They're going to take a while to complete.

I'm on call, as my industry is part of the essential services, providing infrastructure support for hospitals, freight, etc.

However, in my down time, I have a small model railway to work on - it's a real break from anything techy, and quite therapeutic just working on scenery, etc. I think the glue helps :-)

The tech aspect will be learning C ( or whatever) to program up an Arduino or two for building and street lighting - random building lighting, and dawn/dusk timing . Using a 24-port PWM controller board and a bumch of ULN2003 arrays. Might yet forgo the ULN2003 arrays if I control the PWM properly. Each port can handle 20mA, but the whole chip is only rated for 150mA or so.

Already done a couple of snippets of code to test feasibility, but I have no real grounding of writing Arduino code - just play around with a couple of supplied samples, and cross fingers. Have no idea what void main void does, or init main ? Tried reading up on that, and yeah, nah - I need something simpler :-)

On the model making front, I have a LRDG Chevrolet that’s been sitting around for a year or two.

I realised today I have no paint or glue. May have to order from overseas as I doubt model shops will be essential hereabouts.

Happy to help with C and Arduino.

void main() is C... this is where your program starts executing. Typically, it will call some functions to setup the hardware, and in an embedded system it will then loop forever doing whatever it is supposed to do e.g. while(true) {some functions;}

The Arduino environment simplifies things for you by hiding the main() from you, leaving you to provide a setup() function which is executed once on startup, and a loop() IIRC function which then repeatedly runs forever.

I've you're struggling for a reason to go for a walk, check out Hardcore History podcasts.
I work at home and as such tend to not get enough exercise, but these have got me into doing 10 km walks 2-3 times a week, just so I can concentrate on their sheer awesomeness.

I'm stuck at work for the foreseeable future. Home is two hours away but there's a requirement to be available here so it could be some time before I see my wife and home.

There's a bit of a tidy up to be done, as the fitters were told to down tools and head home yesterday afternoon, mid-project for a couple of them.

After the clean up though, there are a couple of projects that I've been meaning to get around to... a small tumbler for polishing rocks, a spare wheel mount for my ute, a sun-umbrella stand I told my wife I'd make from an old Valentine tank road wheel...

I'm beginning to wonder if four weeks will be enough! I just just hope I'm not interrupted by actual work - the brown stuff will have definitely hit the whirly thing if that happens.
