Yes

My wife had a breast cancer op, and two series of chemo, the first cost $60k plus the second $80k. That involved a number of 2 hour sit-downs while it was dripped into her system. I assume 90%+ of the cost was medicine, something is not right


But that was all covered by the public system though wasn't it?

No, we have medical insurance, but if we didn't, yes it would all be covered.

Did you get a complete bill of materials for that $60k + $80k?  Could you share what the most expensive items were?  I hear they list every needle and bandage.
