timmmay:
I haven't read the thread, so apologies if already discussed.
Under level 4 I know we're allowed to go outside and walk around the block or neighborhood for exercise, so long as we stay well away from everyone else and don't go anywhere like a playground and touch things.
Are we allowed to go natural places like Wilton Bush in Wellington, which is basically bush with tracks? The main track is wide enough that if someone else is coming the other way you can stay well away from them. There are many similar places around Wellington, including one a few minutes from where we live.
"Stay home" is good advice, but with a toddler going crazy an occasional trip out would help everyone's sanity. We've never purchased outside equipment like slides and such as we always go to parks, so we don't have much for our toddler to do outside. However, I want to ensure we obey both the letter and the spirit of the isolation policy.
From the comforts of my lounge I could see people walking the Wellington Skyline Track this morning. One has got to do something to get out in the sunshine, perhaps OK when you not mingle with people you are not self-isolating with?
