I’ve started The Pickwick Papers and am downloading Doom Eternal on my PS4 Pro. Culture and mindless slaughter. What more can a man want?! 😀

On Facebook they're saying "you can drive to the parks and nature reserves", whereas the police commissioner and prime minister are staying "drive only to the supermarket / pharmacy". There's plenty of misinformation around, you can see why people might be confused.

Police Commissioner said in today's lunchtime briefing that it is ok to drive to a park or reserve. But it has to be close, like in your neighbourhood. You should not drive across town, for example.

Edit: this contradicts what a reporter has written in this stuff article though... 🤷

I am just having fun playing around at home, Its been so long since I have had a break. Trying to keep out from under the wife's feet so have retreated to my tech play room. Order of the day was try and get working a 4 x nvme card working for a cache drive for my unraid server.

latest Legends of Heroes just came out on PC so that will keep me busy for 50+ hours and i have Grandia after that which is another 80 hours of play time so i'm set for the next week or so.

Great taste, my man. Anyone interested in long, meaty RPGs with best-in-class worldbuilding and character writing should check out the Legend of Heroes 'Trails of' series.

Trails in the Sky, Trails from Zero, to Azure, and then of Cold Steel. It's all one huge, continuous story, and each game is 60-80 hours.

Trails games are particularly famous for all featuring hundreds of NPCs, each of which have their own lives, trials and tribulations which you can follow across the game.

Both the fan translation for the Trails from Zero and the official release of Cold Steel 3 recently came out, so I'm drowning in jRPG goodness.

I listened to what he said on this video. My impression is it's best to stay home, but it's acceptable to drive a short distance like within your suburb to a place for exercise. It's somewhat ambiguous, but I would say more than about 5 minutes drive, don't go.

Playgrounds are of course closed.

Is that seen as one big cache, or some sort of raid? Did you have any luck?

I don't see a problem it or doing the same in your own aeroplane but CAA have deemed that thou shalt not fly. Bless their cotton socks.

It's not allowed, as everyone must stay home unless they're going to get essential supplies or getting some exercise.

If you crash the helicopter they need to send rescue teams etc. Which is good rational for not allowing it.

TVNZ 2 to carry extended kids content hours, with TVNZ DUKE launching DUKE Jr. for daytime

From Monday 30 March, TVNZ 2 will carry extended kids content hours. The schedule change acknowledges the nationwide school closures due to COVID-19 and the need for appropriate content on screen with Kiwi kids based at home over the coming weeks.

On TVNZ 2 a kids content block will run from 6.30am to 10.30am weekday mornings. Kids programming will kick off again at 3pm to 4.30pm, starting with Les Mills BORN TO MOVE, a workout designed for young children and teens.

Over on DUKE, the specially created DUKE Jr. will launch on Monday. This new initiative will run weekdays between 10.30am and 3pm on DUKE (Freeview 13 and Sky 23) covering off the break in TVNZ 2's kids programming.

TVNZ 2 and DUKE Jr. will broadcast both local and international kids programming, suitable for a range for age groups. On TVNZ 2 titles include Littlest Pet Shop and Be Cool Scooby Doo and on DUKE Jr. the complete Cul De Sac series will air, alongside Terry Teo, The New Legends of Monkey, Marvels Ultimate Spider-man and Marvel's Avengers: Ultron Revolution.
