Usage of the app is continuing to decline. I checked the dashboard before I went to bed last night and scans for the day were under 600,000 which is the lowest I can recall ever seeing.

I asked MOH, appears to be staged roll out on Android over a few days, and iOS not quite available yet but should be soon.

Must have only just gone live as I manually checked about an hour ago and wasn't there then. Have now manually updated and I like the diary sectioned off into days!

It wasn't at 830 when the video was out.
Does this fix the inability to add a manual entry that has been present in the iOS version for weeks?

Sometimes I think I'm the only person left in the country still scanning :/

I'm sure the ones that are scanning are here on GZ.
(I do, but only go to about 3-6 different places in a week, and don't see anyone else scan or sign in except at Riccarton Clinic)
568,000 scans today at 2108. 3 of them were me.
never seen anyone scan at my childrens school, or some of the other places i visit.
Yeap. Disappointing eh. But don't worry. If someone visiting from Australia gets a bit under the weather and goes for a test. I'm sure it will improve! /s
Right when it should be high usage. It isn't.
Another day on the train, most wearing masks though one with his peni... I mean nose out (I always think of that cartoon comparison whenever I see someone wearing their mask under their nose). Very few scanning though.
I've seen the odd business get some milage via media offering a token gesture discount or giveaway if shoppers show they scanned in. Word would soon get around that if you go to cafe 'x' and show you scanned in you get your regular coffee upsized or other small offering. People often only participate when they see value in it for themselves - or when there's an outbreak by which point you potentially had been exposed several days too late.
Win (potentially) for contact tracers and the greater good, win for word of mouth advertising for participating businesses.
iOS version is out today. It does not fix the problem with creating a manual entry. When you try to create a manual entry, it just goes to white screen and no entry is created. This is a very fundamental function of the app (probably just as important as scanning QRs), but has been broken for since the previous version was released. I would have thought that such a significant issue would have been more important than changing the way the diary displays - no point having the diary if you can't add to it.
Additionally, comments entered as part of a scanned QR entry don't seem to get saved either.
