From watching what Trump says, I dare say he also believes in it.

It mentions if we ease the border further. I'm unaware of any discussion to ease the border, not one.

kingdragonfly: CNN anchor to Trump supporter: What you're saying is unscientific

it's a planned epidemic who .... are Trump's opponents

  • world-wide coroners have conspired to falsify death certificates to damage Trump's re-election

  • virus will disappear world-wide after Presidential election

Presumably this implies that NZ is in a time-warp 6 months ahead of the USA. And/or that NZ coroners since May have been corruption-free (just like everyone associated with Trump). And that NZ and the Cook Islands and Greenland are *not* Trump opponents. I'm horrified that anyone, even Trump supporters, especially Trump supporters, would think that.

Do they sell masks in supermarkets? Just I haven’t seen them. They need to be available in enough quantities for people to buy first.

Yes. Progressive seem to have supplied Surgical packs at countdowns. And Sanitizer near front counters (cause they walk) for a buck a piece.

Poor earth with all that quazi plastic paper and metal.

Sigh. There's even non believers going off course and moaning about the restrictions on the sponsored/wide push govt covid FB announcement (regarding the returnees paying) today.

I can't fathom how these people are unable to see past their own nose at how good they got it driving and walking around while going out for dinner, meeting friends and STILL think it's a hoax/method of control

Need to start exporting them to an at risk country to get the point across about the difference of conditions/living. As clearly the official channels aren't getting through.

'More lies'

'It's just another form of authoritarian control..'

'Where are the thousands of sick/dead..'

Oh, re above. Mitre10 etc also selling disposable packs. But jacked the price at the announcement that everyone should have a pack on hand.

Regrettably, I have to concur. I have good NZ friends (not at all stupid) who are also completely immersed in this Trump/conspiracy/QAnon BS and are helping spread it to NZ with their anti-Jacinda crap. It really is like a virus. I don't understand at all how people can be swallowed up by this nonsense but I have given up trying. It is like some kind of stampede to superstitious barbarism. It is incredibly dangerous but it seems unstoppable. In a few more years we will probably be burning witches again.

That's because the grain farmers wont be able to sell their grain and the bread manufactures will buy it all up cheap. Trouble being by then it will have become a bit mouldy (rye grain) therefore allowing the fungus Ergot to grow and make everybody a bit dodally due to its hallucinogenic properties.

In 1976 Linnda Caporael offered the first evidence that the Salem witch trials followed an outbreak of rye ergot. Ergot is a fungus blight that forms hallucinogenic drugs in bread. Its victims can appear bewitched when they're actually stoned.

Ergot thrives in a cold winter followed by a wet spring. The victims of ergot might suffer paranoia and hallucinations, twitches and spasms, cardiovascular trouble, and stillborn children. Ergot also seriously weakens the immune system.

🧙‍♀️😷🎓😀

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

In a similar scenario that authoritarian leaders have made the pandemic response political for their own purposes.

I’ve found the only way to deal with them is to completely cut them off and say “I’m sorry but your world view is destructive to you and everyone around you so I cannot be any part of it.”
Then follow up with “I would fee the same way if you decided to drive without wearing a seatbelt as the selfish attitude is exactly the same, while you are putting yourself in danger you’re also putting everyone else in danger too. Trying to reason with you or at least understand your point of view has shown me you are completely unable to listen to any arguments. So I say goodbye with a heavy heart.”

It's about the gist of it.

However may have speed them up to do more in the drive through concept. Where I was visiting a station, mine was cautiously inserted left for about 5s to get over the shock, and then twisted for the last 3-5s before being removed

Diana Berrent lives in New York and tested positive for Covid in mid March and she's still having gastrointestinal issues .  She did a video diary about her illness for the New York Post and  started an online support group for patients to share information and encourage those who can to donate anti-body rich plasma to treat others with the disease. It's   called Survivor Corps.  Diana Berrent talks to Jesse about being part of the "long haulers" group.

New York Daily News: Brazilian mayor touts unproven ozone therapy — through anus — as ‘excellent’ coronavirus treatment

A mayor in Brazil is being widely ridiculed this week after promoting rectal injections of ozone as an “excellent” coronavirus treatment — an outlandish proposal with no proven effectiveness.

“It is a simple, fast application of two, three minutes a day,” said Volnei Morastoni, mayor of the southern city of Itajaí, in a since-deleted Facebook Live video on Monday.

“It will probably be a rectal application,” he said, “which is a very easy, very fast application... with a thin catheter and this gives an excellent result.”

Brazilian scientists quickly debunked Morastoni’s theory and urged him not to offer the treatment in his city.
