Critical thing right now is as stated they don't have any links to travel or known contact with workers in quarantine facilities.

So until that's known, then assume there will be other active cases in the region. How many? Who knows. The level 3 lockdown for 3 days, then review - but expect level 4 if other cases not traced back to the 4 above are found.

i feel sorry for the small businesses who have just got back to some normality , this will be the end for a lot of them.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Maybe there is a way to learn how to stop-start? Not saying it's a good or a bad thing but this is for the long haul.

People who keep saying "zero community transmission" - thing is you never know. Now we know that isn't true.

For no links between quarantine facility to a whole family with Covid - there are quite a few out there to get to this stage.

thing is, asymptomatic/paucisymptomatic spread is the rule not the exception. eventually the virus will escape and make it out.

if you look at the rest of the world, and then we were the last man standing, it was just a matter of time.

I was right beside all the people raging at morons complaining about the charges and other posts today.

wa wa it's not fair. Well, guess how it got here in the first place. Air travel. And guess how it's STILL getting around the globe and popping up at borders.

Any ideas if those people who tried to escape isolation ended up being positive for Covid-19?

They should have punish those people harder like give them a 1 year prison sentence.
