Sideface:BBC News - Germany coronavirus: Hundreds arrested in German 'anti-corona' protests
pinkydot:gzt: Published on Facebook only? Maybe it's a staged campaign starting with Facebook users:It's on their verified twitter page as well and verified Instagram as well. Now they delete it and correct it lol
Unfortunately also on the Ministry of Health website with the statement at the top of he page saying this page was last updated 17 August.
I don't see that this is a particular problem in terms of testing - probably not a bad idea - but it does make it look as if the Prime Minister has not been well briefed on what has happened here.
Assessment and testing for COVID-19
Information on who should get assessed for a test, how testing works and where to get tested.
Page last updated: 27 August 2020
Current testing campaign
We are working with the broader health sector to carry out 70,000 tests over the next week across the country. This is an important part of our surveillance to help us identify the extent of the recent outbreak in Auckland, and any undetected community transmission.
If you're in South or West Auckland, or if you have a greater risk of poor health outcomes if you were to get COVID-19, even if you don't have symptoms, please have a test.
If you develop symptoms consistent with COVID-19, wherever you are, please contact Healthline (0800 358 5453) or your doctor immediately and have a test.
Well a bunch more people are turning up for testing, well its not such a bad thing in one way.
UnSocial media encouraging the profitable nutters, perhaps the Government should stop spending on them completely. Not like they pay much tax.
I would expect sending the advertising to local media first would have had the mistake uncovered,
immediate questions, and caught the issue ?
Deal with issue re local media that we do need dying from lack of revenue.
Tokoroa has a pop up to put testing around any possible viral escape there, given its new case, and could be well contained ot medical center.
This virus is such a tricky devil, test too early and you pass, until you build up enough virus in your system to show.
Its outside Auckland and hopefully sends a message to whole country to keep an eye on the Level 2 measures.
Hand washing/sanitizing , distance/masking, keeping to small groups etc, now more Aucklanders are coming to see you.
It does not have to be expensive cheapest soap is good.
The Franklin area that grows most of our veggies needed a break anyway , and hopefully someone is using the time in level 2 to come up with more sensible measures. Kinda wonder where people on local boards who should be lobbying for their people were in this.
We just need to buy some more time for the many different treatments in pipeline to be proven,
and save ourselves from unnecessary long term potentially expensive medical problems, and deaths.
Just think of our performance with Measles , Whooping Cough, and our place with third world as hotspot for Rheumatic fever.

Might be more pre-existing conditions out there than we think.
Caution might be a good idea afterall.
So the SARS-Cov2 rollercoaster rolls on, might need a deep clean, lots of motion sickness, yuck.
This text in my post is copied form the MoH website - the bolding of "even if you don't have symptoms" is from the website not my editing.
I assumed the simplified message that the PM was referring to was that posted a few posts back in this thread. The PM said that the simplified message was correctly spelt out in the further details given. On the MoH website I don't find any more detailed information than that I have posted.
Again my perspective is that there is no problem if lots of people go and have tests - probably a good idea. The problem is that the PM hasn't been well briefed on the issue.

Hemi88: Because of one stupid reporter there was nothing of any value from this press conference the question was answered very well move on and ask some better question
Many trying to call him out on it too (same dude took over one of the standups at the MoH offices about totally unrelated election stuff)

... and he's pushing back. He's a journalist, his job is to ask questions, and whether people like it or not, incorrect comms that plainly state that half the city needs to get tested a day before we move out of Level 2 from the 'one true source' of Covid19 information is a newsworthy occurrence.
Not to mention the Minister of Health was on national media outlets this morning and gave no indication that this was incorrect. It took until the 1pm news conference and those *annoying questions* for the posts to be pulled from social media and for anyone to even actually address them, despite having the opportunity to do so earlier.
One day people might understand just how much change has been effected in our Covid19 response just because journalists had the cheek to ask a question that some people didn't like of their favourite politician or actually fact checked their answer when something didn't add up. They aren't PR wizzes for the government and expecting them to just blindly toe the line isn't how journalism works in a functional democratic society.
Hemi88: @oblivian pm gave the answer and it was going to be rectified and it should of been enough it was answered well for me it just at this time there were a lot more pressing questions that needed to be answered but because of him taking up so much time there wasn’t anything I get it’s his job to ask but when you hijack the press conference with the same question not letting others get questions it annoying rant over
I was disappointed I didn't hear anyone from the media ask questions about this https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/members-mt-roskill-church-gathered-prayer-meetings-during-lockdown
