Hi There!

I currently have a Jawbone UP24. I really like it, however its not capable of heart rate monitoring, and I want to get something which can handle that, sleep monitoring, and steps taken.

Needs to be comfortable enough to wear near 24/7 and have Android and IOS apps.

Cost isn't the biggest factor.

The UP3 looks pretty good, no ETA for stock, and wondered if anyone had current gen recommendations.

If your willing to wait until next year the new Fitbit Charge HR and Fitbit Surge are due out early 2015
I'm probably going to pick up the Surge once it's launched to replace my pebble (As only use it for the notifications) and my current Fitbit Flex.

The only other thing I could think of would be the Nike+ Fuelband SE but only has an iPhone app.

Any comments made are my personal views and does not represent those of my employer

couple of the guys here have the Microsoft band and find it really awesome.  All the stock keeps disappearing though, so hard to get a hold of.

Microsoft Band appears to be large and bulky in comparison though - several reviewers have mentioned it.

If you're after a non intrusive device it doesn't appear to be the best option.

yah that was my impression initially when it was announced. I am concerned it would get in the way when I was playing squash etc.

they do come in three different sizes - some of those reviews may well have been done using the incorrect size - a number of people just took whatever they could lay their hands on...

I am hoping my wife will be able to bring one back from China on her next trip there in two weeks.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
