I'm just wondering who has used them? How were the blades? Do you still use them?

I'm also wondering how long did the shipping take

Not many people realize the Australian one ships to NZ

I took a punt with the $7 option which gives you 4x 4 blade cartridges, what have I got to lose right? It seems hugely popular in the states. It's a monthly subscription but you can make it less frequent if you don't need as much!

Also, you get a free month for each person you refer, so if anyone wants to give it a go I would appreciate them using my link!

Good company, product is Dorco, average quality really. Good prices but shave quality slightly below average. I've tested all the Dorco blades (2, 3, 4, 6, 7) against Schick and Gillette, the Dorco are cheaper but not near as good. The Dorco 6 is the best of the bunch, but still lags behind either of the branded options. There's a huge thread that discusses them somewhere around here.

Yeah I did see those threads, but not too much of it was about them. Alot of it was about cut necks etc, so thought I'd ask here and more people might be using it now

I have a bunch of the six blades, if you want to try them I'd sell a pack at cost if you want to try them. They're a bit better than the fours.

Hmmm. Nope.

I always used Gillette, until I changed to the Philips shaver 9000, which I have been using for about two years now.

I only used a different option at most five times - in emergencies when not having my blades around, and even so never had this kind of problem.

Oh, I didn't get irritated skin like yours. They just don't feel comfortable like the Gillette ones.

I mean, I had to use one again today, and don't think I cut myself but I had to be SUPER SUPER careful.

Received my Dollar Shave Club 4x today, Seems fine, heaps better than the BIC I was using.

Nice space between the blades to the hairs dont get stuck

It would be interesting to try the 6x.

Buying them from dorco doesn't look like its cheaper especially if you have to muck around with youshop etc

With Dollar shave club it comes out to $2.50 a blade for the executive (pace 6 plus), or $1.75 per blade for the 4x (pace 4)

These are AUD which is close enough to NZD at the moment, and shipping is included, took about a week to arrive, sent from Auckland apparently. Can't really complain!

Is this the bic disposable you're referring to?

They can be quite nasty if you are aggressive with the angle. I use a Weishi DE razor from aliexpress and vokshod blades from ebay, 100 for $14 which last for a year since I go through two a week.

No, they were like this but from Countdown. https://www.amazon.com/BIC-Hybrid-Advance-Disposable-6-Count/dp/B00394DTE8

You can actually get blades really cheap which are still good. I want to get one of these. :P

I have a double edged razor. It basically sucks. It takes four passes to get a good close shave, lathering up each time, and it's slow. You also get cut more.

The pivoting head was a fantastic invention, reduces cuts, irritation, and saves time. Ride your unicycle to the general store, they should have something more effective for you! ;)
