Hey all,

So, I currently have the Gear Fit 2, have had it over a year, before that I had its predecessor, the Gear Fit.

All my devices are Samsung & Im keen to stick with them. But that could change.

I have issues with my Gear fit2 & considering an upgrade.

Auto detect workout - is utterly crap & Ive not had it detect an ACTUAL workout in forever, can't even recall the last time it did, rather it tells me about the great workout im doing when Im getting changed into my workout gear! I ALWAYS have to manually set it to monitor my workout every time. Yes Ive checked, checked & rechecked my settings.

No Last Workout saved - It used to default to the last workout I had done, which I was fine with as OTHER was the only category any of my workouts fall into. No each workout I start, i have to scroll to the 1 I want

Default workout - why is this not an option?

Lack of workout types - where are the options for for common gym group workouts? ie Pump, Zumba, Spin, Circuit, Weights etc - I have to use OTHER all the time

Accuracy of tracking & sleep - a very common issue with this smartband

There are a few other issues I have with the Gear Fit2, but those are the ones that bother me the most.

I have seen that Dicksmith are offering a deal on smartwatches, Samsung too.  I got the email flyer for these prices yesterday 15.6.18

Samsung Gear S3 Frontier or Classic $379

Gear Sport $299

Gear Fit2Pro $215

Sharp prices!

I wouldn't bother the Fit2Pro, But I like the idea of the Sport. The Classic & Frontier look awesome but seem a little bulky for me, I have quite small wrists!

anyway, thoughts, do you have any of these watches? recommendations ,what works great & not on them?

Advice on the Gear Fit2??

I have gear sports and the gear fit 2 pro

The sports seems to have an issue with stair counts and never works.  Auto detect of work out is not something i have seen it do either.

The fit pro 2 seems to auto detect and does the stair count fine on mine.

I still however manually start my works out etc but i do weights most of the time.
