Looking at purchasing a smart watch to help a little with exercise plus the other advantages. Samsung Active. 2 seems to meet all the criteria I am after.

Looking at prices Dick Smith has them way cheaper than anywhere else but I’m not sure what the catch is. I see them advertising NZ/AU models at a higher price.
The advertising doesn’t say but are these cheaper ones left over from some other country and not able to be fully used in NZ? Perhaps GIS is different or something.

Not up with smartwatches at all so any advice would be most. Appreciated.

Perhaps they are left over active 1's?

I wasn't sure on a smart watch, but was lucky to be gifted an Active 2, and just love it. Great for tracking my runs, walks, and bike rides and keeping track through the health app.

Sorry can't specifically help on the Aussie watch variant, but have not generally heard good things about Dick Smith's service, particularly after sales. Perhaps paying a few more dollars from a NZ retailer would be worth it for the after sales support.

There is also the new Galaxy watch out, not sure of the price difference though. Suggest you get the latest model you can afford.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
