Hi GZ,

Just got back home after 3 weeks at the hospital due to a stroke and would like to reduce the things my wife and son need to worry about at home so was thinking of ordering some ready-made meals. Any recommendations? I have already tried plate-up and muscle food and swole as well but was hoping to get something different for variety.

Angel Delivery is more focused on gift baskets, but having received one recently I found it great - very tasty food and delivered well. Not sure it'll be cost effective for regular deliveries though.

There used to be something called Galloping Gourmet in Wellington, but that was years ago and I don't even know if they're still running - but they delivered cooked meals to your home.

Can't recommend eat.co.nz highly enough.

Used them for my Mother in law before she went into a resthome 8 years ago and then again for my mother after a stroke and before she went into care after lock downs last year.

Great food well prepared and packaged and really cost effective.
