Hi.

My wife has expressed an interest in a pair of these to use for swimming and cycling.

Sound quality, water proofness, comfort and ease of music transfer are all key requirements.

I know very little about these, so would appreciate any recommendations.

I have a set of Shokz OpenRun Pro headphones and I absolutely love them.

Mine are bluetooth only, so you cannot load music onto them, but the same company makes another model called OpenSwim which claim to have storage for music and be waterproof.

The sound quality really is surprisingly good, though I am no audiophile. Super clear generally, but they do get drowned out by other sounds easier than conventional head/ear phones.

Very comfortable to wear. Easy to forget you have them on.

I like that my ears are left uncovered and I can still hear what is happening around me.

I would not go back to conventional head/ear phones, and if mine broke, I would buy them again tomorrow.
