Howdy folks

Heading overseas for a month with the family, leaving next sunday.  5 people with 1 check-in baggage and 1 carry on each.  Looking for recommendations for an airport shuttle service that isn't shared and doesn't have crap reviews... anyone got any recommendations for service that is available around Titirangi area of auckland?

Cheers

Chris

Park and ride not an option? It’ll probably be cheaper and more convenient.

You would be better off doing a Google search and ringing around the different shuttle companies and getting quotes

I remember there is a sign at the traffic light outside Costco on the maki sheet heading to the northwest shopping mall way.

On the way home we'll be coming off a 26 hour flight + 4 hour stop over so will be in no shape to drive plus don't have space for 5 peeps and luggage in our car... but I did check its cheaper than I expected!

Its not actually the price, its the quality and performance... just after people experiences to help guage the right company.

The cost of your airport shuttle is a rounding error on a trip like yours so I wouldn’t scrimp over an extra $50 there and back. Especially given the stress involved in getting a family to the airport in time.

We had to get six to the airport and back with similar baggage so I booked a taxi van. It was very low stress and timely. I searched but can’t find the name sorry but the cost was about $90 each way from Remuera.

Just book a super shuttle and ask them to just have it for your family, might cost a little more, but It's what you have to pay for exclusivity.

As above - just book a Supershuttle and book it exclusively. There is an option on the website to do this.

Check the price though. When I looked the solo super shuttle option cost a bit more than the taxi van

For instance, a trip from Devonport to the international terminal for 5 people  would be $147 shared, or $205 exclusive, so less than $60 more. or $255 for a Platinum one.

Evening all, thanks for the replies.  Looked at super shuttle and its $100 for shared, $180 for private - so $360 return... As others ahve noted it will be a fraction of the total cost and it is around 1% so really not much but like all things if I can get away with cheaper then I will try!  Got a couple of quoutes comeing on Monday from providers with decent reviews on trip advisor but super shuttle is likely to be hte back up if they're no good.
